This is the ideal way to start to play golf. Our one to one basic lessons offer a simple approach to learning and understanding the basic fundamentals required to develop a sound golf swing.
Each session is 30 minutes and will concentrate on one aspect of the swing. this will enable the player to build up a sound basic swing or to correct and improve any faults they may have developed. Using a set process of development as a novice you will start with the grip, set up and posture, the foundations to any golf swing. From here the process will be to add one aspect of the swing at a time to create a full swing.
If you are a seasoned club golfer and just want a "tune up" or have developed a few faults over the season we use the same process to highlight the areas of your swing which require improvement.
One to one basic lessons can be directed towards specific shots or the use of specific clubs, e.g.
The Driver
Fairway woods
Sloping lies
Bunker shots
Putting
The list is endless so if you want to concentrate on something specific just let us know when you book a lesson.
1 x 30 minutes 1-1 Basic Lesson..£16.00
To get the most benefit from your one to one coaching I recommend a program of lessons, to develop your technique over a period of time, including a practice program.
For a "tune up" I recommend a minimum of 3 lessons over a period of 6-8 weeks. Practice is very important to achieve the best results so I suggest a minimum 2 sessions of 80 balls per week over the period of the lessons. Always remember "the more you practice the better you get".
3 x 30 minutes 1-1 Basic lessons..£45.00
If you are new to golf or a novice of just a few games I recommend a program of 6 x 30 minutes lessons. The first 2 lessons should be taken close together, followed by the remainder of the lessons to be taken at 10-14 days intervals. Again practice is important and I suggest at least 2 sessions of 80 balls on the driving range each week during the period of the lessons.
My recommended program of lessons to begin with is:
Grip and line up.
Posture and why it is important.
Leg movement and weight transfer.
The back swing and shoulder turn.
the importance of a good follow through.
Club head control to help with direction.
