 ASBLOGO

A S Brook~Golf, 3 Day Golf Schools.

Whether a seasoned golfer or a novice of just a few games, you will have no doubt found out just how frustrating the game of golf can be. Understanding the basic fundamentals of the golf swing and putting them into practice is a constant challenge.

At the A S Brook~Golf, 3 day Golf Schools we aim to improve your understanding of the basic fundamentals through simple, straight forward coaching of the swing you already have. We will give you the principles behind the importance of the grip and a good set up position. The principles of how momentum is created and how to control the momentum you create, using plain language. We will relate the movements of your golf swing to movements you will have made playing other ball sports, some of which come naturally some of which you will have to work on through simple drills and practice excersies. During our 3 Day Golf School the coaching is broken up into 3 sessions each lasting approximatley 3 hours duration. Each session is aimed at a specific area of the golf swing and during the session we will show you how to apply what you have learnt to all the shots you will play.

Video playback and computer analysis is used in each session to help you fully understand your swing and the movements required to get full potential from it. The system we use enables you to see your swing in slow motion, step by step, and set positions. You will be able to see all the angles and unwanted movements. We will compare you to some of the leading players around the world, have you swinging side by side with them and even left handed if you want. We will also compare you swing for swing as the sessions progress to see what changes you have made. At the end of the school we will transfer some of your swings to a CD to take away as a reminder.

The 3 sessions will include the following:

Session 1

Understanding the grip, stance and posture. The effects of posture on your swing. To finish the session we spend 45 minutes on the putting green using the principles learnt help your putting stroke.

Session 2

Generating momentum from a good golfing position using the turn of you body. The last hour of the session will be spent on the chipping green using the principles learnt help your short game.

Session 3

Controling the swing. The relationship of the club face, body movement and target. During the session we will introduce the woods and to finish we will spend some time in the bunker.

To help you get the most out of each session we take no more than 6 people each school.
